I’m Lexi, a wedding photographer based in Columbus, Ohio, and Savannah, Georgia, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a hopeless romantic with a big smile and a big heart for capturing incredible couples across the globe. I believe in capturing relationships in a timeless, romantic way while still having those effortless moments of joy in between. I value experience in life more than anything else, so it’s important to me to have a great experience for my couples that are undeniably in love.
One of the first considerations for a bride is the wedding venue. There are so many options to choose from around Columbus, so I am giving you the top 10 wedding venues in Columbus that you should check out! Every couple has their own style, and every wedding will be different. Ask yourself these questions…What kind of venue would you like to get married at? Do you prefer a garden, country club, estate, barn, etc? Do you want the ceremony outside or inside? How many guests are you anticipating? Consider these questions before looking at wedding venues. That being said, here are my favorites:
If you love the look of botanical gardens and many different natural settings, this wedding venue might be the perfect fit for you! You can have an intimate or a larger wedding at this venue, regardless of your guest list size. You can choose four areas within Franklin Park Conservatory to have your wedding: The Palm House, Grand Atrium, The Veridian, and The Wells Barn.
Swan Lake Event Center has over 20 acres of land, so there are many options for your wedding! There are over five different ceremony locations, so you’re sure to find one you love! There are two parlors you can use to get ready for the day. The Main hall is where your reception will be held indoors, with vaulted ceilings, customized lighting, and a partially covered terrace overlooking a lake. I might be a little biased, but this is my absolute favorite venue around Columbus!

This is a new and upcoming wedding venue located in central Ohio. The Estate is gorgeous not only on the outside but also on the inside! The bridal suite at this venue has such elegant charm. There are plenty of rooms within the estate for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. Every inch of the 40-acre property is breathtaking. Onsite parking is available for all of your guests. You will love Beverly Mansion’s reception space if you’re searching for a bright and clean space for your celebration! With windows on each side, white drapery on the ceiling, and crystal chandeliers, this space gives a romantic feeling! I adore this hidden gem wedding venue, and weddings here are some of my favorites!

There are 100 acres of land on the property of Jorgensen Farms. You’ve got the option of choosing to have your wedding at Oak Grove or The Historic Barn. Both are entirely different looks and feels. A total makeover recently gave the Historic Barn a romantic yet rustic atmosphere. Oak Grove is a classic and elegant greenhouse that is spacious for your ceremony, with the Main Hall being steps away. An on-site florist can create the wedding florals of your dreams.
The Westin Great Southern Columbus has a special place in my heart! I used to work at The Westin during college, and I always saw all couples come in and prepare for their big day. The building is historic looking on the outside, and the inside just got a revamp! If you’re looking for a classy and elegant vibe for your wedding, this is the perfect venue for you. With marble flooring, stained glass windows, and a wide-open room, it’s just such a welcoming space. You can take wedding photos in front of the hotel, but Scioto Mile is only a couple of blocks away! Having everything at this venue makes it convenient for you and your guests. You can get a room block for your guests, and they never have to leave the hotel on the day of your wedding! The wedding coordinators here are super helpful and always go above and beyond!
This wedding venue just went through a renovation a couple of years ago, which really elevated the space! On-site, there are two getting-ready rooms to make it convenient for both sides getting ready. There are cobblestone patios, a garden, and a fire pit for guests to enjoy. In the reception space, sliding glass doors can be opened on beautiful days. Both the indoor and outdoor options make this venue versatile. One of the best things about the venue is its all-inclusive package. It truly gives all couples a breath of fresh air because they don’t have to worry about hiring so many vendors.
This central Ohio wedding venue is the perfect blank slate. This modern white farmhouse is located on a hilltop and exudes a romantic atmosphere. They’ve got a spacious, elegant bridal suite and a groom’s cottage, giving you two getting-ready spaces. Tons of natural light spills into the ceremony and reception spaces. The venue is suitable for both indoor and outdoor events. Depending on Ohio’s weather, guests are welcome to mix and mingle outdoors with a beautiful view. No matter what color scheme or style you choose for your wedding, the possibilities are endless at this venue. They’ve also got a working flower farm that offers peonies and a large selection of cut flowers. One of my 2023 couples is getting married here, and I’m so excited to photograph their big day!
The architecture of the Statehouse has such a beautiful interior and exterior. Because it’s so beautiful, you could have all your photos taken here if this is your Columbus wedding venue! Black and white marble flooring, light pink walls, and historical charm make the Rotunda an ideal site for a ceremony. The Atrium space will be the location of your reception, where all evening events can be held. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with a historical and museum feel, you’ll fall in love once you go and tour the Ohio Statehouse.
This wedding venue brings a simple yet modern space that offers all-inclusive packages. Having these packages available makes wedding planning so much easier for couples. As soon as you walk in, you’ll enter the foyer, which will be the space in which your cocktail hour is held. A beautiful fireplace is often the center of attention as you can add gorgeous florals to it. There are two getting-ready suites on-site, which are very spacious and have tons of natural light. A secluded patio ceremony space outdoors is beautiful, with cafe lights strung above.

Brookside Golf & Country Club is an excellent choice if you’re seeking a country club for your wedding. Photos outside the elegant Tudor-style clubhouse look stunning. You can also have access to a golf cart to travel around the property for pictures around the lawn. You will be welcomed by a large water fountain as soon as you pull into the venue. You’ll have the option of having your ceremony outdoors on the lawn or inside the ballroom. Their brand new patio area will be the perfect setting for the cocktail hour! The ballroom is spacious enough to hold up to 300 guests.
