Brennan and Faith both attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In Faith’s sophomore year, she transferred to Miami University, where she only had a friend from middle school there. Her friend introduced her to Brennan a few days into the school year. Their friendship blossomed over the next year, and they officially started dating!

Brennan proposed last year in the cutest way! He wants to work in the board game industry, so he designed and professionally printed a physical board game for them to play. He told Faith they were testing out someone else’s game, so she had no suspicions. After the first game, she opened an envelope for game two, and her engagement ring fell out!

Columbus Engagement Photography

It was at the Ohio Statehouse that we began their session. The clean, white marble building makes for an amazing background for photos. A more formal engagement photo shoot is ideal here. To prepare for their engagement session, they looked back at past engagement session blogs of mine to help pick out their outfits. The two of them were total naturals in front of the camera! Following their engagement photos at the Ohio Statehouse, we went to Franklin Park Conservatory to capture some more pictures.

Franklin Park Conservatory is a charming greenhouse wedding venue just minutes from downtown Columbus. This is one of my favorite spots for engagement photos, especially in the summer. Back in the community garden, you feel as if you’re in a secret garden far away from Ohio.

It will be such a pleasure to celebrate these two next month! Their wedding will be at Brookside Golf and Country Club, and I know it will be stunning!
