If you’re planning a wedding and are still in search of the perfect wedding venue, then you’re in the right spot! As an Ohio wedding photographer, Crimson Lane is one of my favorite Northwest Ohio wedding venues! Let’s dive into all the good things you need to know before booking this as your wedding venue!
As one of the newest wedding venues in Northwest Ohio, Crimson Lane opened in 2018. In terms of your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, the venue offers a lot of customization. They can fit 200 guests in the main hall, with overflow seating in their chapel area for up to 100 guests.
The entire establishment is dedicated to your special day, which makes this quaint, rural venue perfect for a wedding. No other events or commotion are going on other than the staff tending to your needs. I am blown away by the potential of this venue.
Crimson Lane is located in Ada, Ohio, at 4600 Co Rd. 1. You’ll find this Northwest Ohio wedding venue just a few minutes off Highway 30. Even though you have to take a few country roads to get here, you’ll immediately know once you arrive by the tree-lined drive that takes you back to the venue. But before you even enter the property, you will go under a stately sign proudly announcing you’re at Crimson Lane.
If you’re traveling from Toledo, it’s about an hour’s drive. If you’re coming from the Columbus area, it’s a little over an hour and a half. No matter the drive time, Crimson Lane is totally worth it!
So far, I’ve shared a basic overview of getting married at Crimson Lane, but there’s so much more info. Next, I’ll get into the nitty-gritty facts that really matter to you!
One of my favorite things about this venue is its clean and bright interior. It’s a truly beautiful space with its white, modern look that gives a blank slate for your wedding. You can bring any aesthetic or color into this space, and it will look amazing. The Main Hall has vaulted ceilings, dark wooden beams, and gorgeous chandeliers. The Chapel is right off the Main Hall and is used for indoor ceremonies, the dance floor, or the overflow room with a grand fireplace that is the room’s main focus. This venue will blow you away with its beauty!
This venue conveniently provides an onsite bridal suite and groom’s room. This allows you and your groom to have everything done there. Bridal suites are spacious and well-lit, making them perfect for vendors helping you prepare for the wedding. A full-length mirror, TV, and five makeup stations are included in this space. You’ll find a minibar, 55″ television, and back patio access in the groom’s room.
Two great outdoor options are available at Crimson Lane for your ceremony! The first option is the waterfront with a pavillion-covered dock for you and your officiant to stand. Upon entering, you’ll find a paved walkway, so ladies, no need to worry about sinking your heels or dirtying your dress! The second outdoor option is underneath the 150-year-old white oak tree, which makes for the perfect setting if you’re a fan of nature. Both of these outdoor options can hold up to 300 guests. In the event of rain or cold weather on your wedding day, you can choose an indoor ceremony in The Chapel.
On one of the paved patios or verandas, your guests can enjoy cocktail hour after the ceremony. Since Crimson Lane has its liquor license, there is a main bar in the establishment. They do not offer on-site catering, so you will need to hire an insured and licensed caterer.
When considering what wedding venue to choose, price matters so you can stay (somewhat😉) within your budget! They have a page on their website dedicated to everything they offer, including the price point for weddings. You can check that page out here!
Peak wedding season begins at $6,000 for May to October dates. I highly recommend you to take a tour of the venue, where you’ll also be able to get a more accurate price. Below is everything included in your rental:
