Back in October, I met up with Morgan and Brady for their Slate Run Metro Park engagement session. This was my first time visiting this central Ohio park, and it was so pretty! We had to reschedule their session due to weather, so we were excited to finally get their pictures done. We ended up having the park almost to ourselves and it was a nice evening.
Brady and Morgan went to high school together, but they didn’t spark an interest in each other until they were in college! For two years, they dated long distance. Then Brady decided to transfer schools and they both finished at Ohio University. They got engaged in May 2020. Brady had planned on proposing while they were on a cruise, but unfortunately that got cancelled. Since his first plan fell through, he had to come up with an alternative plan. Brady ended up proposing in front of both of their families, along with a new puppy! So Morgan not only became a fiancé, but she also became a dog mom! They are the proud dog parents to an adorable Tri Australian Shepherd, named Kona.
Morgan had shared her vision for their engagement session with me. She wanted to have fun, carefree candids. Slate Run was the perfect location for their session. With the variety of open area grasslands, wetlands and meadows, this backdrop was amazing! Ohio had a weird fall, so the leaves hadn’t really changed quite yet, which was a bum, but we made the best of it!
I had the best time spending this fall evening with these two. I am counting down the days until their fall wedding at Four Seasons Barn in Cardington. Check out some of my favorites from their Slate Run Metro Park engagement session!
