Engagement Photos Cleveland Ohio | Stacey + Brady
Cleveland Engagement Photographers
I enjoyed meeting up with Stacey, Brady, and their adorable dog Nyla! We started their Cleveland engagement photos at one of my favorite spots for engagement photos in Cleveland, The Cleveland Museum of Art! The all-white marble on the outside of the building makes for a great background.
Brady and Stacey have been together for over seven years! They love to snowboard, so they went on an ideal getaway to Colorado a couple of years ago. While driving around the area, they stopped at a scenic pull-off spot with unbelievable views. Brady asked Stacey to marry him, which was the perfect private moment to do so!
To start their session, both wore jeans, with Stacey wearing the cutest blue and white floral patterned shirt, while Brady wore a white button-up shirt. They looked so good together! Their pup Nyla joined in for some photos at the beginning of the session, wearing a bandanna that said, “My humans are getting married.” She behaved so well! When couples want to bring their dogs, I always suggest having someone accompany them. Stacey’s mom tagged along, brought a few treats, and stood behind me to ensure we got the best photos. Once we got enough pictures with her in them, she could go back to the car!
While staying at the Cleveland Art Museum, they changed into a second outfit. Stacey wore an adorable light pink romper and paired it with white heels. Brady changed into a pair of khakis and wore it with a soft blue button-up.
They wanted to get on top of a parking garage for their second location so we could get some skyline in the back. I absolutely love doing rooftop engagement photos! Little did we know that the Guardians had a baseball game that evening, so the original parking garage we had found was completely full. We tried another one, and as we got to the top, it was the best view, and we could even see inside the Progressive Field stadium and watch the game! Brady and Stacey are huge Cleveland sports fans, so it was perfect and worked out in the end that we had to find this other garage. Of course, we had to get a few photos with the stadium in the back! Check their schedule here if you plan to take engagement photos in downtown Cleveland!
The Perks of Doing Rooftop Engagement Photos:
There’s one reason why I LOVE doing engagement photos on a rooftop! More often than not, no one is up there, which means no eyes are watching you. Getting your photos taken while many people are around can be intimidating. The peace and quietness let you, as a couple, be yourselves! Whether you’re running hand in hand or getting cozy for romantic close-ups, it is an excellent setting!
The end of Brady and Stacey’s Cleveland engagement session was capped off by popping champagne, one of my favorite ways to end engagement sessions! This is always a fun feature to add to your photos, as it always gets cute reactions and genuine laughter.
I loved traveling up to Cleveland for their session, and both Stacey and Brady are so friendly, and it felt like we had been friends for years! I’m so excited to photograph their wedding this year!
