Spending a day back in February with Austin and Jesseca for their engagement session at Everal Barn and Inniswoods Metro Garden was so much fun!! Ohio had gotten 10+ inches of snow about a week before this session, so we thought for sure we would luck out and have some snow still on the ground. But unfortunately it had all melted, which then left the grass wet and muddy. But these two were troopers and were up for anything! Actually, we were fortunate and had a beautiful day considering it was still February!

Austin and Jesseca both attended Ohio State ATI and were actually neighbors! Both of their roommates were friends with each other, so they decided to set these two up…and the rest is history! Around Thanksgiving, Austin decided to pop the question. He did it in such a cute way! Austin sent Jesseca roses during the day that had a note attached saying, “Let’s go out to dinner, I’ll pick you up at 5.” Austin arrived at her house, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! After she said yes, they went to dinner at the restaurant they went to on their first date. Then, both of their families surprised Jesseca and they were all able to celebrate and toast to the happy couple! Adorable!

I have known Austin since elementary school. We are both from the same hometown and we used to go to church together (cue the memories from all the church lock-ins). His family has always had a special place in my family’s hearts. Both my family and his family love vacationing to Hilton Head Island!! It’s always so much fun to catch up with past schoolmates and see where they are in their life. I also learned that Austin is working at a place in my hometown that my great grandpa started years ago!! How cool is that?!

Jesseca and Austin are such a sweet couple and Jesseca has the best giggle ever!! I am so excited for their summer wedding at The Pickwick Place! Enjoy their cute engagement photos!
