You have probably seen these familiar faces quite often this year, and that’s because they have had such an exciting year! Nate and Meridith got married in October and I was so happy to stand by their side on such a perfect day. They are expecting a sweet baby girl any day now! The leaves were perfect for this fall maternity session we did for them.

Meridith has been my best friend since the day she was born! Haha…yep, I really mean it. My aunt and Meridith’s mom have been best friends ever since they were little. So naturally, we followed in their footsteps and our friendship began. Since I’m an only child, Meridith is like that built in sister I never had.

When Meridith told me that she was pregnant, I was SO excited because that meant I would finally become an aunt! We have always talked about this day and I can’t believe it’s almost here. It was so much fun planning the gender reveal party and the baby shower for them. Nate and Meridith let me find out what the gender was before they even knew! I felt so honored that I was able to do this and then throw them a gender reveal party. Before opening up the envelope to find out what Meridith was having, I knew that no matter whether it was…boy or girl, I would love him or her! When I opened up the envelope and saw “It’s a girl” I was SO excited! I’m not going to lie, I teared up a little. This was the hardest secret ever to keep! I didn’t tell anyone for 5 days!!!

Ever since finding out they were expecting a little girl, I have been spoiling the heck out of her every chance I get…and she’s not even here yet! I am thrilled to watch Nate and Meridith become parents to sweet Finlee Rae.
