Although my primary focus is wedding photography, I also really enjoy photographing maternity sessions! I was so excited when Heather reached out to me about taking pictures, and even more so when she wanted to do maternity photos in a studio! These are some of my favorite Columbus maternity photos!

I’ve known Heather since I was in middle school, so it was touching that I was able to photograph this sweet moment in her life! Last year I was able to take all of her family’s photos, and that’s when I met Jeremiah, her fiance. They are an adorable couple whose personalities complement each other, and you can feel their love.

Photographing sessions in a studio are some of my favorites as it lets my creativity flow! The more I grow in my photography, the better my work becomes. I went into their maternity session wanting to try new poses and see what came to mind. I aim to create fine art and editorial-style photography that looks like film. The results of this session were amazing!

We chose to capture their images at Be Changed Studios in New Albany. Natural light floods in through the windows of this beautifully decorated studio. As the studio offers different backdrops and props, we were able to customize the layout to our liking. I definitely consider this to be one of my favorite Columbus studios!

Heather and Jeremiah are expecting a sweet baby boy anytime now, and I can’t wait to see their bundle of joy. It just so happens that she is due right around her birthday, so what a wonderful birthday present that would be! Best wishes and congratulations to you both; you’ll be amazing parents!
