London and Taylor had the most beautiful wedding at The Ballroom at Park Lane!
These two met while they were in high school. They both played on the high school tennis teams and had a mutual friend set them up! Taylor proposed on the beach in Cleveland and then planned a surprise engagement party afterward!
It was my first official trip to Cleveland for a wedding, and I was thrilled to photograph at The Ballroom at Park Lane! This Cleveland wedding venue has vintage architecture and an amazing charm to it. This might be the perfect fit if you’re looking for an all-indoor wedding venue.
This full venue rental included everything Taylor and London needed! You can hold your ceremony and reception in the ballroom, while your cocktail hour and dancing can take place in the speakeasy. The Ballroom at Park Lane provides gold Chiavari chairs, ivory linens, parking, and use of their wedding suite. There is also a courtyard that your guests can go outside and enjoy to get some fresh air if they wish.
The wedding suite provided plenty of room for London and her bridesmaids as they prepared for the day. A spiral staircase within the suite was perfect for some photo opportunities. Taylor and London shared their first look in the courtyard once everyone was ready.
One of my favorite features of this Cleveland wedding venue is that The Cleveland Museum of Art is within walking distance from The Ballroom at Park Lane! Although rain was in the forecast for almost the entire day, we remained optimistic. I continued to check the radar to make sure we were in the clear. However, it misled us because we were caught in a quick downpour. After hiding under a tree, we eventually went under a covered building.
I am absolutely smitten with the photos from the Cleveland Museum of Art wedding! The white marble building makes for a gorgeous backdrop. Once we got a break in the rain, we returned to the venue so they could freshen up for their ceremony. Park Lane’s ceremony location features a stage where the couple gets married.
Since we got all photos done before the ceremony, London and Taylor could enjoy cocktail hour with all of their friends and family. The workers flipped the ballroom space from a ceremony setup to a reception setup. That room looked so beautiful! The centerpieces were made of beautiful chinoiserie pieces collected by London’s mom, who has an Etsy shop for antique house items.
The venue’s architecture gives the photos a classy appearance, which is reflected in the pictures we took outside the venue between the rain showers. The inside of the venue is also beautiful for wedding photos! At the reception, London changed into some fuzzy slippers with her new initials and it was adorable how confidently she wore them. She also had a dress change once the open dancing started so that she could dance around comfortably. It was such a great day celebrating the love of these two! I can’t wait to see where life takes them from here. Congratulations to you two!
