It’s so crazy to me that we’re in the beginning of 2022! This past year was kind of weird…like a continuation of 2020. But, there were so many exciting things that happened in 2021 that I am so thankful for! So without further-ado, here is my 2021 year in review!
My Travels of 2021
I absolutely love to travel and that’s why I love being a destination wedding photographer. This year brought me to travel to several different states! Back in April, I traveled with a couple of my friends to Santa Barbara, California. This was my first time to California, and i was blown away with how absolutely breathtaking it is! All of the architecture, the mountain views, and my favorite, the ocean views. While there, we attended Styled Shoots Across America’s editoral shoot at the one and only Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez. You can read about My California Trip here!
My family and I took our annual trip to Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It felt so good to get away and unplug, especially in my favorite place on earth! Every time we visit this area, we always fall more and more in love. Next year when we are down there, I can’t wait to photograph an engagement session in Savannah! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in Savannah, I would love to be considered! Check out my 2021 Hilton Head Vacation.
It is a goal of mine to photograph a wedding or session in all 50 states. This year I got to check off 3 new states! Like I mentioned above, I went to a shoot in California, but I also photographed an engagement session at Sterling State Park in Michigan, as well as a wedding in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
I Graduated From College!
A big accomplishment of mine this year was graduating with my bachelors degree from The Ohio State University! It was a long 5 years of juggling school and running my business, so I am glad to be graduated now. It’s nice not to have to worry about school work. I can officially now put all of my focus into my wedding photography business and my virtual assistant business with my mom.
2021 let me photograph 9 amazing weddings of my own and tons of weddings I second shot! From big weddings, to small intimate weddings, all of them were simply amazing. I am so blessed to have this job where I get to capture one of the biggest days of your lives.
Thank you all for following along on my business journey and supporting me! I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for LRA Photo! Here’s some photos to go along with my 2021 Year in Review.
