Cayla and Noah are the sweetest and cutest couple, and I’m thrilled to be part of their 2021 wedding! We did their engagement session in downtown Dayton, Ohio and then headed to Wegerzyn Gardens Metropark. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and the sun was shining perfectly! I had never visited downtown Dayton before, so choosing a spot that situated the downtown buildings as a backdrop was fascinating.
Cayla and Noah were high school sweethearts and now they are Falcon Flames! They both currently attend Bowling Green State University. BGSU will always hold a special place in my heart since I attended there for two years! Cayla and I are actually studying almost the same courses, except she’s at BG and I’m at OSU. We both love to plan things, so when we were discussing their wedding plans, we both got a teeny tiny bit excited!
During their engagement session, they decided to add a few personal touches to their outfits, as well as a few props. They wore t-shirts from their high school and BGSU. One of their friends made them cute signs that said, “High School Sweethearts” and “Falcon Flames.” Also included was a paper chain that Cayla made to represent their time as class president in high school. I appreciate it when couples include things that represent who they are as a couple. It always makes their pictures extra special and shows a part of their love story.
These two are getting married next August in St. Pete Beach, Florida!! Y’all I’m ecstatic for my first destination wedding next year. It is going to be a relaxed, fun-filled weekend with a beautiful wedding at the center of it. What more could ya ask for!? 😉
