Julie and Marc united together, along with their parents for a gorgeous intimate ceremony at Swan Lake Event Center in Powell, Ohio. Swan Lake is a dream location to hold your wedding at as it sits on a large piece of property with gorgeous views of a pond, gazebo, bridge, and several different spots to hold your ceremony. After Julie and Marc said their vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss, Marc broke glass as a reflection upon their union.

One of my favorite things about an intimate ceremony is not only capturing the bride and groom as they become husband and wife, but afterwards it gives us time to roam the venue and spend time together photographing them as they’ve just entered married life. Julie and Marc had picked out several locations where they wanted to do their portraits at and I was super excited to share this time with them. First, we started at Swan Lake and then moved towards downtown Columbus. Next we went to Scioto Mile (one of my favorite locations) and several spots around the short north area.

Julie and Marc were meeting back up with their parents at Martini’s to have dinner, so we went there as their last location for pictures. After we finished, Julie’s mom came out with a box of donuts for me. How sweet is that?!?! Julie said she knew my birthday was coming up and that I was a big fan of donuts. I was surprised by how thoughtful that was of her and of course I absolutely loved the donuts!!

I’m thrilled I got to spend this precious time with them and I wish these two a lifetime full of happiness, and I can’t wait to see their marriage grow!
