Where is Swan Lake Event Center:
You’ll find Swan Lake Event Center just a little north of Columbus, Ohio, at 5900 Liberty Rd. N, Powell, OH. Since this wedding venue is in Central Ohio, there are many things to do around here.
Places to Stay Near the Venue:
Many hotel options are not too far from Swan Lake Event Center. Dublin, Polaris area, Westerville, and Delaware are great locations with many different hotels.

One of my past Swan Lake couples had a room block at AC Hotel by Marriott Columbus Dublin. Bridge Park being nearby made it easy for them to have their rehearsal dinner there. There are so many restaurants, bars, and activities in this area! And not to mention, there’s an incredible rooftop bar at AC Dublin, Vaso.
Ceremony Options:
One thing I love about Swan Lake Event Center is the ceremony venue options they offer. There are five outdoor ceremony locations on the property in addition to their indoor space. The natural beauty of their outdoor space sets them apart from other venues.
Waterfall:
This space is one of the most popular ceremony spaces within their property. As you go down to the Waterfall, you’ll have a grand entrance by walking down some stairs. Behind you are piles of rocks that surround a small waterfall.
Apu’s Landing:
There is a beautiful view of the main reception hall, the small pond, and the entire grounds from this ceremony space. A waterfront ceremony in Ohio?! Sign me up!
Forest:
The Forest is a wonderful ceremony location for you if you love nature. Surrounded by trees and secluded in peacefulness. The sun peeks through the trees can make the lighting beautiful.
The Meadow:
This ceremony option is super pretty! Like the Forest, you’re surrounded by many trees but out in an open space. One of my couples was going to be the first couple to get married in the Meadow, but it ended up raining minutes before their ceremony! Here’s what their set-up looked like, though!
Terrace:
The Terrace is an excellent ceremony option if you’ve got a smaller guest size. You can overlook the pond or be covered under the building in case it rains!
Everything the Venue Includes:
Many things are included when renting Swan Lake Event Center as your wedding venue! From chairs and tables to customized lighting options and a fireplace/firepit. There are two huge parlors onsite that you can include in your rental and use as your bridal and groom suites. The lighting in these parlors is impressive, and there is so much space for everyone to spread out while they get ready! In the groom’s suite, there are two tv’s and a ping pong table. They also have a golf cart that you can use to get around the property for photos.

How Much Does a Wedding at Swan Lake Event Center Cost?
One of my favorite features of Swan Lake’s website is its pricing calculator! This is a wonderful tool for couples to utilize. The pricing calculator lets you customize what you want for your wedding, such as what month you are considering, what day of the week you’d like to have your wedding, and approximately how many guests you will invite, and it includes a list of add-ons to choose from. This website feature lets the couple acknowledge whether the venue’s cost is within their budget.
For an exact quote, they can build you a customized proposal that will include everything you’d like while on your tour!
What is the Guest Capacity?
Whether you are having an intimate wedding with 20 guests or having a large wedding with 300 guests, Swan Lake can accommodate your wedding! Regardless of how big or small your wedding will be, they will make it special.
Do They Provide Catering?
Swan Lake Event Center does not offer in-house catering but is partnered with five different catering companies. Their exclusive caterers are: Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, Creative Cuisine Catering, Hudson’s Edge Catering & Events, Metro Cuisine, and The Berwick.

Will They Give me a List of Preferred Vendors?
The answer to this question is easy, yes, of course! Once you officially book this space as your wedding venue, they will send you a list that they have created full of wedding vendors that they highly recommend! I’m on their preferred vendor list, which thrills me to no end!
