Last month I took Katie and Shaun’s engagement pictures and it was so much fun! Katie and Shaun are a 2021 couple of mine and I can’t wait to celebrate their special day. We started their engagement session at Whetsone Park of Roses in Columbus. I had never been there before, but it was super pretty! I love finding new locations to shoot pictures. Park of Roses has a great variety of beautiful backgrounds that made for a lovely backdrop for Katie and Shaun.
Last December, Shaun proposed to Katie in New York City! What a magical time to be proposed to, especially in NYC! I learned to love the city life when I visited NYC years ago, so when they shared the details of their proposal story, I was super excited. Katie and I share the same love for the city life!
It was only fitting to head to the Short North Arts District to finish their engagement session! We walked around the Short North and found a magical courtyard, cute murals, and of course, risked a few pictures in the street with the arches! We ended the session on top of a parking garage to capture the energizing city scape of downtown Columbus.
Just wait until you see Katie’s ring!! Y’all… obsessed doesn’t even describe it! The rose gold color and uniqueness make it perfect. I have never seen a ring like this and I was beyond excited to photograph it!
