Behind the Scenes of my 2019 Wedding Season

Wow! Where has this year gone?!?! I haven’t blogged since I launched my new website, so no better way than starting up my blog again with a recap of my amazing 2019 wedding season! Going through all of the wedding albums from this year, reminds me of how joyful I was to witness and capture 12 couples gather together around their family and friends to become husband and wife.

This has been one of my busiest years with my business, while going to school full-time, doing an internship as front desk agent at The Westin Great Southern and maintaining my business. It was a bit of a struggle at times, but I made it! I transitioned from living in Marion to Columbus almost a year ago and I am so fortunate for this move.

2019 brought so many positive opportunities to LRA Photo! I traveled many times throughout the year, and photographed some awesome couples in different states. From heading to Pittsburgh with my friend Sierra, photographing my friend Hannah and her boyfriend in Savannah, Georgia, and lastly, traveling to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend one of the Styled Shoots Across America photo shoots. I absolutely love to travel and I am so glad that my job allows me to see the world.

Two accomplishments that I was ecstatic to cross off my goal list was getting a new brand and website, and to get published in a magazine! In June, I had an engagement session published in The Tate Estate. Seeing my work in print gave me all the feels. In August, I celebrated my “official” 1 year in business and on the same day I launched my new brand and website!

Now time for the fun part! Seeing some behind the scenes of my amazing 2019 wedding season. I realized that I didn’t get a picture with each of my couples, so for 2020 that will be one of my goals!

Thank you to all of you for your love & support! I am forever grateful and humbly blessed to live my dream as a photographer!
