A Country Wedding in Central Ohio

It was such an honor to photograph Brigitte and Hayden’s wedding. Brigitte and I went to school together, so it was fun catching up with her and being part of their big day.

The weather for their wedding day was forecasted to be stormy most of the day. As a photographer, and not a weather girl, its important to be aware of the weather so I can prepare and schedule portraits accordingly. I purchased clear umbrella’s so that we could still do a few portraits outside in case it did rain. Luckily, it only stormed for about 20 minutes the entire day. There were only a few sprinkles while we did their portraits, so we were still able to use the cute umbrellas!

Brigitte and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents home in downtown Delaware. Their vintage victorian home made for a beautiful backdrop for photos. We hung her wedding dress in the doorway, which gave her gown a look of elegant beauty. After the girls were ready, we headed to the venue at Sunny Acres Farm in Marion and the decorations looked great! It was obvious how hard they’d worked to create an adorable rustic look that was warm and welcoming. They adorned the barn with a cute homey vibe that represented their wedding style perfectly.

Their wedding day was filled with love, family and friends. I couldn’t be happier for the two of them and wish them a life full of happiness!❤️
