Schiller Park in Columbus is a gem for photo sessions. As one of the oldest parks in Columbus, it’s always great to go visit and grab some beautiful pictures. I hadn’t visited this park in a few years, so I was super excited to go back to this German Village beauty. This engagement session with Aaryn and Andy was no exception. We were thrilled that there were still leaves on the trees, so we were able to mix some fall colors in their session. The temperature was 60ish degrees, so the weather was perfect for a November shoot! I have known Aaryn for years, so I was honored that she asked me to be part of their love story team! I graduated high school with her brother, so it was such a nice time to catch up and see what’s happening in her life.
These two lovebirds met through a mutual friend that set them up on a blind date! Andy had no idea what Aaryn looked like, but Aaryn had to sneak to find a picture of him before the date 😉 They hit it off from the beginning and the rest is history!
In October, Andy popped the question to Aaryn while they were on a small hike. She was surprised, elated and thrilled, and her ring is absolutely gorgeous!
One thing I love that is becoming more and more popular is when a couple brings their dog to their engagement session! I absolutely love dogs. So when they told me that their beloved boy wanted to join them for some pictures, I was eager to meet him! Bringing your dog to your session shows not only the love between a couple, but also the love they share with their “baby”.
I am overjoyed to photograph their wedding next July! It will be a lovely wedding, with their reception in their backyard. Enjoy these pictures of this adorable couple!
