Ashley and Cody’s fall engagement session at Inniswoods Metro Garden was gorgeous! Since the leaves had fully changed, the park was PACKED. We had to wait our turn to take pictures at certain areas…it was that busy! Engagement sessions at Inniswoods are always my favorite no matter what season it is. The park is so big and offers many great options for pictures.

Cody and Ashley met two years ago and they were inseparable right away! They said it seemed like they had known each other forever. They have the cutest proposal story ever! Ashley and her family travel to Walt Disney World almost every year, so back in July, they went to visit and Cody joined them. As they were enjoying time at the Magic Kingdom, they were standing right beside Cinderella’s castle and all of a sudden, Cody’s parents came running towards them. Ashley had no idea they were coming! Cody then got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. It was Ashley’s dream of getting proposed to at Disney. How stinking cute is that?! #dreamproposal

As if that’s not the best, they’ve decided to be get married AT Disney next summer with their close family near by!! How amazing is that?! Since Disney only allows their own photographers, I don’t get to join them, but I am so excited for them! I instantly thought of the tv show Disney’s Fairytale Weddings. Ashley was explaining to me some of the wedding details about how Disney has certain timeframes for when they can get married, as well as when they can take portraits. After they get back from Disney, they will celebrate with a big reception and I’m thrilled to be part of their celebration!

I can’t wait to celebrate Ashley and Cody’s marriage with them next summer and hear all about their Disney wedding! I know it will be an absolute dream. Enjoy looking at these pictures from their engagement session!
