Hannah and Dalton | Wormsloe Historic Site

Being from Ohio, there is no Spanish moss, or charming southern cities with gorgeous historic homes. But that’s not the case in Savannah, Georgia. I was on a family vacation in July and was longing to squeeze in a photo shoot while being in the historically beautiful city of Savannah. I had visited Hustle and Blow, a blowout bar to add some glam to my day when I met Hannah, who was the makeup artist that transformed me from drab to fab! Which I want to congratulate Hannah for recently becoming part owner of Hustle and Blow! She was so sweet, and her southern accent was the cutest! She was telling me about her boyfriend, and I was explaining to her about my obsession with wedding photography and couples in love. We followed each other on Instagram, and a few days later we  scheduled a photo shoot at the beautiful Wormsloe Historic Site and Forsyth Park! I was beaming with excitement!

Wormsloe had already closed for the evening, but that didn’t stop us from grabbing pictures there. The front gates were closed, which actually made for a perfect backdrop because there were no cars or people in the background. We then made our way to Forsyth Park and explored around the area. Again we got lucky because the park wasn’t busy or bustling with people. It was a hot and humid night, but Hannah and Dalton encompassed the shoot like troopers and made my dreams come true!

Wormsloe Historic Site is one of the most dreamiest spots for an engagement session in Savannah, Georgia! The long drive, with all the spanish moss draping from the trees, it’s a magical location. If you’re looking to find the perfect spot to propose in Savannah or have your engagement photos, definitely go to Wormsloe!
