March was a super busy, but good month!! It consisted of tons of driving, haha!
My spring break was towards the beginning of the month and it was remarkable to have a break from school and homework. I finally had a chance to work on some business projects šš¼ and see some of my family that I hadnāt seen since Christmasā¤ļø. Iāve realized one thing I need to become better at is having a set schedule. I need to learn how to prioritize between schoolwork and working for myself. Isnāt it great when we can have self-awareness and learn how we need to better ourselves?!
My friend Sierra and I took a QUICK road trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! The past few years she and I have visited a city, and this year we chose Pittsburgh. We had both been there before, but were much younger. We arrived by 10:30 am and decided to get lunch because we both were super hungry! We ate at a place called Harris Grill and weād heard they are known for their mac n cheese.. let me tell you, the portion size was so big that we shared it and didn’t even finish it all and it was delish! Afterwards we went back to the hotel and got ready to explore the city. As some of you know, when photographers travel together, all we really do is take pictures of each other and the scenery, haha!šø Later that night, we met up with a local photographer and her husband and took pictures of them around the city, and I am in LOVE with how their pics turned out!!š
We had learned that there was a St. Patrickās Day parade the next day, and the streets were shutting down at 7:30am and wouldnāt be back open until 1pm. Unfortunately, since we had to leave super early the next day, we grabbed a quick dinner and also got milkshakes from the Milkshake Factory. Seriously hands down the best milkshake I have ever had!! If youāre ever in Pittsburgh, I definitely recommend trying this place.
The end of the month I had two amazingly fun engagement sessions with some of my 2019 wedding couples! Iām looking forward to what the month of April has in store…school is over at the end of the month, spring blooms start sprouting and wedding season begins!!
