In May, Tyler and Khiara celebrated their first year of marriage! It’s so hard to believe that it’s been a year since they got married at Scale Haus Banquet Barn!! We had to reschedule their anniversary session many times due to the weather, but I am so glad it finally worked out this time because the sun was shining perfectly. We did this session around their property because they wanted pictures showing where they lived the first year of their marriage. The house they’re living in has actually been in Tyler’s family for over 100 years! How cool is that?! I think that just makes this session even more special and personable for them.
Their adorable golden retriever dog, Zoey, joined them in some of the pictures and she was the perfect dog model and would almost always look at my camera!
It was great to catchup with Tyler and Khiara and see how they’ve been throughout this past year. They celebrated their one year wedding anniversary with a trip to Disney back in February and they had so much fun!
This was my first anniversary session and let me tell you, I absolutely loved it! It’s amazing to see my 2019 couples again and hear all about the married life. Scroll through to see this amazing session from the other night!
