It was a hot and sunny day at Millcreek Equestrian Center in New Carlisle, Ohio. I was so excited for Jeff and Nicole’s wedding day at their beautiful horse farm. This adorable couple lives on a charming farmland, where Nicole owns and runs the equestrian farm. I loved getting to see all of the horses gallop freely through the grass. Unfortunately, they weren’t behaving that well so we weren’t able to take any photos with them… but we’re hoping we can try next year at their anniversary session!
Their ceremony took place in their side yard where their pond made for a nice ceremonial background. As a symbol of their love and unity, they chose to plant two apple trees with their son, Oliver. They decided to do apple trees so the horses can enjoy the fruit and it will remind Jeff, Nicole and Oliver of their special day. After the ceremony, we walked around their beautiful land and captured their couple portraits around their property with wooden fencing in the background.
Their reception was held underneath a big white tent with beautiful teal details that looked vibrantly against their lush property. There’s always something special at each wedding I get to be a part of that I just love and cherish. With Jeff and Nicole’s wedding, my favorite part was the message in a bottle at each table. This will be a treasure they’ll hold onto for the rest of their lives as they had each guest write Nicole and Jeff a note that they will read on their anniversary. As the reception overflowed into the evening, the two love birds shared a choreographed first dance that was super sweet and everyone enjoyed watching.
I loved getting to be part of Nicole and Jeff’s special day along with their family and friends. It was not only a beautiful day weather-wise, but also a wonderful day celebrating a lovely couple! Congratulations Jeff and Nicole…may your love story last you a lifetime!
