Shane and Courtney couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day back in August! It was a lovely summer day with the sun shining and barely a cloud in the sky. As Courtney and her bridesmaids arrived at the church, Courtney dressed in her beautiful wedding gown and was ready to share a first look with her father. Doing a first look with your dad can be very emotional because he knows that his little girl is about to be a married woman. It was such a sweet moment as both Courtney and her father shared some tears together. After this sentimental time with her dad, it was time for Courtney and Shane to share their first look. As Shane turned around to see Courtney for the first time in her wedding dress, he was beaming with the biggest grin on his face. It was a touching time for both of them as they also exchanged letters to one another. It was adorable how Shane made his letter into the shape of an “R”, for their last name. The way that these two look at each other is just precious! It’s truly a blessing to see how in love they are…it makes my heart so happy!!

Once the ceremony was over we traveled to Creekside Gahanna to do all of the portraits. Creekside makes for a beautiful background because there is a variety of scenery for pictures. Their bridal party killed it and definitely knew how to have a great time! Their reception was right beside the airport at the 94th Aero Squadron. I was so excited for their reception because I had dreamt of us getting a plane in the background of some of their pictures. It’s no secret that I love traveling, and even flying! Well my dream came true because there were about 3 planes parked close to a fence that separated the restaurant grounds and the airport, and it made their photos even more magical!! Their reception was so much fun! It was filled with lots of dancing, hilarious toasts from the bridal party, and a fun shoe game! I‘m grateful that I was able to capture their beautiful wedding day. I love getting to experience a couple through their engagement and onto their wedding day and reception.
