I’m so excited to share Lauren’s bridal session. She and I had planned on doing it in Toledo in the middle of April. The weather that week wasn’t favorable as it was a little chilly and there was rain in the forecast. The weather was gray and rainy in Toledo the day of the photo shoot, but in Columbus it was sunny! Since Lauren had her hair and makeup done already, we made a last minute decision to capture her portraits in downtown Columbus at the Scioto Mile. I was appreciative and thankful that Lauren and her mom drove all the way to Columbus from Toledo!!
Lauren looked absolutely stunning, as her hair and makeup were perfectly done. Her wedding dress was an exquisite silhouette adorning an open back with buttons and flowy skirt. This bridal session was an ideal day for Lauren to familiarize herself with her look of beauty for her special day.
I love meeting up with a bride to do bridal pictures. A bridal session is typically done prior to her wedding day, once all of her dress alterations are perfected. This gives her and I time to build our relationship more than we already have, and it allows the bride to get comfortable being in front of the camera. This is also a great opportunity for her to test her hair and makeup before her big day. Therefore, if she ends up not liking something, she can make the adjustments with her hair stylist and makeup artist. Capturing the bride weeks prior to wedding day, saves time so that her and the groom can rejoice in their exciting day. Enjoy these beautiful pictures of Lauren!
