One of my favorite things to do is to go to a coffee shop with one of my best friends Sierra and work on business tasks, like editing pictures, responding back to emails, and planning out content to post on my social media accounts. I typically don’t get distracted as easily if I work at a coffee shop, unless Sierra and I get way off topic, which can definitely happen.
If I am not working at a coffee shop though, you can find me working here in the comfort of my own home. I love this little corner in my room because it makes me feel more professional working at a desk, and I know that I need to get things done.
Everything that you see on my desk has some sort of meaning to me. This older camera that you see down below, was found at my great grandma Fetter’s house. It was given to me once she passed away. I have no clue how to use it, or even if it still works, but I enjoy having it on my desk because it reminds me of her.
The picture that hangs above my desk, is actually new. This was a Christmas present from another one of my best friends, Meridith. Someone drew this picture of me, and it is ah-maz-ing!! The details in this picture are unbelievable.
The last three things that you see on my desk is a coffee cup, a picture frame, and a pencil/pen holder that looks like a camera. I got all of these things for Christmas as well. The coffee cup is so cute and perfect for me since I’m a photographer, thanks Kait 🙂 The picture frame is from Christina and it has one of my favorite sayings on it. “When life gets blurry adjust your focus.” I actually have this saying in my dorm room as well. It is a great reminder for me that when life gets blurry or out of focus, I need to readjust. The pen holder I got is from Emily, and it is so cute and I love it! Now I have a place to put all of my fun colored pens and markers.
It is important to me that everyone who follows my blog and business knows who I am… the girl behind the camera. Every now and then I will do these blogs about my life, that way all of you can get to know me better and we can connect!
