Right now life isn’t normal for anyone. The other day I asked if my followers would like me to continue writing my blogs, and many of you told me to keep them coming…so here we go!!!
Romantic Wedding at The Hutton House
Last year, Heather from Styled Shoots Across America announced her mood boards for styled shoots she was hosting. I instantly fell in love with a particular mood board. But, the issue was that it was in Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, one of my goals last year was to attend a styled shoot outside of Ohio. I gave some serious thought to whether I wanted to attend this or not. When tickets went on sale, I decided to go for it and I bought the ticket.
Fast forward a few months, and it was finally time for the styled shoot and I was so excited to attend! This styled shoot was held at The Hutton House which was simply beautiful. Imagine white walls everywhere, a brick fireplace, and sliding glass doors that led out to a gorgeous area where you could have your ceremony. When I first walked in, I instantly saw the tablescape, and my jaw dropped immediately and was wowed with its exquisiteness. The Hutton House is a luxurious wedding venue just minutes away from Minneapolis. This intimate oasis is tucked away in the Medicine Lake area.
As most styled shoots go, we separated into groups and I was fortunate to be with such a friendly group! Our first station was bridal details, and Heather had so many details for us to photograph. She provided a couple of beautiful Bella Belle Shoes, rings, earrings, etc. Next, we photographed the bride and groom models and they were such a cute couple! I felt bad for the groom because he wasn’t feeling well, but they were troopers and hung in there. After photographing the couple, we moved to the tablescape area which included a cake table as well. The fireplace adorned gorgeous florals, which made it even prettier than it already was! Next we moved to the bride model. She was stunning!! It was so cool to find out, she was Miss Minnesota United States in 2018!! How cool is that?!?! After these awesome stations, we moved onto open shoot and I was able to capture many more lovely shots of the artistry that surrounded the venue.
I am so glad that I attended this styled shoot. Not only did I cross off something from my business goals list, but I also crossed off a personal bucket list item, and traveled to a state that I had never been to before! While I was in Minneapolis, I had to stop by Mall of America to see what it was all about. It was so cool to see! It was entertaining to watch people ride rollercoasters, and zip line through the mall. A huge shoutout to my grandma and grandpa who traveled with me to Minnesota, so that I was able to attend this styled shoot! It was totally worth it, and some of my favorite pictures from 2019 come from this experience!!
