A few weeks before Courtney married the love of her life, we took her bridal portraits around campus at The Ohio State University. When I started talking to Courtney about her bridal session, she already knew where she wanted to take her pictures. She wanted this session to be for her soon-to-be husband, Shane, who is absolutely obsessed with Ohio State. Which made it perfectly fitting for us to take pictures around campus, but especially in front of the Shoe!
I’m absolutely in love with Courtney’s dress! Her dress was a beautiful floor length gown with elegant lace. Her train flowed exquisitely behind her and worked perfectly to get some epic dress shots!! Courtney has such a bubbly personality, and always brings the life to the party which of course made this session that much more fun!
Some brides are leery about doing a bridal session because they are worried about getting their dress dirty before their big day, which I totally understand! I promise you that if you do a bridal session, we will be super careful with your dress. One of my biggest tips when it comes to doing a bridal session is to bring a friend or family member with you. Bringing someone along makes it easier for both of us because they can help carry things, as well as assist you with the dress, and they can also help me nail those stunning veil or dress shots 😉
I thoroughly enjoy the time I get to spend with brides during a bridal session. It’s a great time for us to connect and get more acquainted with each other, and it’s an opportunity for you to get ready for your big day!
