Meet Nicole and Jeff, an adorable couple from New Carlisle, Ohio. As they were celebrating their upcoming wedding season, they decided to split their engagement photos into two parts. This photo session dates back to December, just a few days before Christmas. We started their session at Schiller Park in German Village. It was a frigid day of nearly zero degrees out, so they incorporated their winter coats in this session. Deciding to wear their coats not only kept them warm, but also expresses how truly cold it was on this winter day. After walking around the park and grabbing some great shots, we went across the street to the old victorian looking homes that were beautifully decorated for Christmas! I was thrilled that the neighborhood was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and greenery because that’s exactly what Nicole wanted for this session!
Their second session was going to be this spring, but because of all of our busy work schedules, it didn’t work out. So instead, next year we’ll get together and shoot a celebratory one year anniversary session!
Here we are five months later and their wedding is tomorrow!!! Yes, you read that right! Tomorrow is their big day and I couldn’t be more excited for them! Nicole’s family owns a horse farm in New Carlise, and that’s where the wedding is being held. I can’t wait to see how beautiful their wedding day will be, but for now enjoy these pictures from their winter engagement session!
